Mobility is really something fantastic. I can work today here in Belo Horizonte in the same way as I can when I travel to Montes Claros, Divinópolis, Brasília and Porto Alegre (yeahhh! going in July). Everything in the notebook: files, emails, MSN, Skype, browser, phone Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Poa (via SkypeIn). Since I have a phone line to connect to a wireless network, or (better right), get online whenever I need. This is freedom.
People are naturally migrating to new technologies, see the case of wireless. Notebook, which was formerly a luxury, now became a necessity due to a better cost, compared to a desktop equivalent. Many are modernizing .... my father, with more than 60 years, it has been since last year (with an Acer). Xande My friend also could not resist and bought a lovely Sony Vaio (like mine, hihihihi). This week was the turn of the Ju (Toshiba), and then, Jane (Acer). Before my sister had gone Tania, the sister Dani. Everyone "mobile" .... free desentulhando the table ... and huge monitors and CPU's.
I find it really amazing evolution of technology, practicality, well-being.
