Burglar complaint against mugged in Belo Horizonte
"No one is given the right to take justice into their own hands." This was the argument of a man who, after trying to rob a bakery in Belo Horizonte (MG) and having his nose broken by the owner of the property, filed a complaint saying he was the victim of aggression.

The complaint of the accused was considered an affront to the judiciary by Judge Sylvester Jaime Camargo Corrêa, the 2nd Criminal Court of Belo Horizonte. He said that "perhaps the greatest case of postulatória aberration" and that, without doubt, it is mockery.

The judge said in a statement to the media, that the trader acted in self defense, no excess, since it "would have only sought to ensure the integrity of your employee, and split, their own heritage." The names of the robbed and the thief, caught red-handed, were not disclosed.
