Infraero install wireless internet in 12 airports
Infraero (state which manages the Brazilian airports) said on Tuesday (14) that will provide free wireless Internet access in 12 airports in the country, the system must be implemented by December.

The company says it invested U.S. $ 1.1 million for implementing the network, which will serve the passenger and commercial establishments present in these terminals.

Are on the list of airports with Wi-Fi airports of Guarulhos (SP), Galleon (RJ), Brasília (DF), Confins (MG), Santos Dumont (RJ), Congonhas (SP), Salvador (Bahia), Recife ( PE), Porto Alegre (RS), Manaus (AM), Curitiba (PR) and Belém (PA). Some of these sites already had wireless internet, but had to pay for access.

According to Infraero, in 2009 more than 20 airports will have Internet access. The idea is to install the system at 67 airports that the company manages.

This news is very good. Step airport in 1 or 2 times a year and misses a free wireless too ... because even with shipping rates that we pay as the guys, there's nothing fancy about it. Point to INFRAERO :)
