I was a little more than 48 hours without coming here validate the comments and see what went ... spam, spam a lot. I need time to put a captcha tool (one that the visitor must enter a sequence of numbers to send the comment).

No one deserves!
Some time ago I lived my blog getting waves of spam daily. It was about 5 per day, with about 30 spams each. Suddenly he stopped. I think the spammer who loved me (!) Died or something.

I use the excellent Akismet to block spam on my blogs ( http://ilo.ciadolinux.com.br and http://tudo.ciadolinux.com.br ), it would be interesting for you to use it too.
I also noticed that you only get the "plugin" to add to digg, I did a Brazilian version of this share-if you want to look is in http://ilo.ciadolinux.com.br/plugins/

I have similar problem but using Akismet + URL + nuker Cardoso made some changes to custom, could automatically filter the last 12 days around 21,000 SPAM messages that were deleted automatically without me even seeing their faces.
Imagine having to go through 21,000 spams ... not going to be left time for blogging ...
