I've been analyzing visitation data and profits here in my blog and I will share with you. Classes 1 and 2 Statistics and Quantitative Methods Applied to Directors are serving me for something already.
I believe it can help those who are venturing into the world of Blogs in order to earn a buck.
This first graph reports the evolution of blog visits since its launch in May 2006: 
In this next, inform the gains (in dollars) reached in the blog. As the visits, the gains have also evolved. 
The third graph, cross data: x visitation gains.
This graph is more interesting to me. It shows, to interpret it, that profit is directly related to the number of people who pass through here every month.
Increasing the number of visitors, the trend is that earnings are also increasing.
And how to attract more visitors to your blog or site daily and see your profits go up? I'll give some tips in another post just on this subject.

Interesting analysis. What intrigued me is the jump in the number of hits from the 3rd month. Less than 100 visits to over 1000. What changed in July 2006 that made access to multiply in this way?

30A projected increase of 70% per month based on the difference to Jan Feb (increase less than Jan to Dec) gives a value of R $ 146,000.00 per month in December 2007. Geometrical projection! Not bad huh?! But a steady growth so unreal.
On my blog the graphics do not follow the trajectory of visits because I'm having more success in changing the placement of ads. Until I have more income but less hits. Less than you and no increase in PG is a shame ...

An interesting chart is the eCPM that has AdSense panel. Months before making the calculation it is possible for data Page Views and Revenue. It gives an idea whether the placement / colors are working.
